The Ardena Oss site is situated on Pivot Park, A reputed Life Sciences campus with a special focus on pharmaceutical innovation in the Netherlands. Which provides high qualified facilities, events, and a nice community.  At the Ardena Oss site workover 110 employees of whom the vast majority have a BSc, MSc, or PhD education. We have a strong network with the Universities and HBO’s in the area of Arnhem, Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Breda and Utrecht.  Our team in Oss comprises 11 nationalities. 90% of our customers is located outside The Netherlands and 30% outside Europe.

Our activities

At Ardena Oss we work on the process development, scale-up and commercialization of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API’s) and nanomedicines. As a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), we provide services in synthesis, purification and characterization of API’s. Scale-up to 30 kg is done in our state-of-the art kilogram plant under GMP regulations. At the Oss site, we have a long history in small molecules chemical development, for example in heterocycles, carbohydrates and steroids.

Along with this, we provide unique services in the development, manufacturing and characterization of nanomedicines. Our expertise covers a broad range of nanomedicines, including lipid, polymer and metal oxide-based nanoparticles. We can conjugate or load these nanomedicines with for example small molecules (such as cytotoxics), peptides, or proteins. The products we develop and manufacture for our customers are technically highly complex and offer interesting scientific challenges for our team.

 In parallel, we compile the regulatory dossier for our customers to fast track their product towards compliance.
