AI Specialist
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
YOUR ROLE
To strengthen our Corporate IT team, we are looking for a driven AI Specialist.
In this role, you will report directly to the CIO and act as the subject‑matter expert for Artificial Intelligence across Ardena. You will work closely with IT, system owners, and business stakeholders across multiple countries to identify automation opportunities, drive responsible AI adoption, and shape Ardena’s AI strategy. Build the “ArdenAI” brand
This is a hands‑on, influential, and highly visible role supporting Ardena’s ambition to accelerate digital transformation through safe, compliant, and value‑driven AI solutions.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As Information Security Officer, you will:
Partner with business units to analyse processes, identify inefficiencies, and surface opportunities where AI or automation can create measurable value.
Work with process owners to evaluate feasibility and data readiness.
Build business cases for prioritized initiatives reflecting strategic value and operational impact.
Support the CIO in developing a clear, forward‑looking AI roadmap for the organization.
Translate corporate objectives into actionable AI initiatives.
Collaborate with IT Security to ensure AI usage aligns with Ardena’s AI Policy and regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act
Serve as the intake point for evaluating new AI tools requested by employees, consistent with governance processes described in the organizational AI guidance
Conduct assessments covering business need, data security, compliance, and integration requirements.
Coordinate pilots, proofs of concept, and vendor interactions.
Document findings and provide clear recommendations to leadership
Ensure all AI activities meet Ardena’s internal governance standards and regulatory obligations.
Contribute to AI awareness training and communication efforts across teams.
Support the refinement and improvement of Ardena’s AI-related procedures, templates, and guidelines.
Recommend optimization measures or training to increase adoption and maturity.
Identify redundancies across tools and propose consolidation opportunities.
YOUR PROFILE
You bring:
Proven experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, data science, or related roles.
Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and identify automation opportunities.
Strong practical knowledge of modern AI tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, OpenAI-based tools, domain-specific AI functionalities).
Understanding of AI governance, risk management, and ethical considerations.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, GxP, and the EU AI Act.
A structured, analytical mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
The ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Experience in a GxP-regulated environment is a strong plus.
