For the Ardena Business Unit based in Somerset (US), we are looking for a Senior Specialist, Critical Utilities.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

YOUR ROLE

The Senior Specialist, Critical Utilities is responsible for the advanced operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance oversight of critical utility systems, including steam boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, purified water, and building automation systems. This position requires extensive experience in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and control systems and serves as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting and optimizing critical utilities. The Senior Specialist provides guidance to junior team members and plays a key role in regulatory compliance, system reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role includes on-call responsibilities to support 24/7 facility operations.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of steam boilers, chillers, refrigeration systems, HVAC, compressed air, purified water, and other critical utilities.
• Act as a technical expert and mentor for junior team members in diagnosing and resolving utility system issues.
• Ensure all critical utility operations comply with GMP, FDA, OSHA, EPA, and NJ state regulations.
• Act as a liaison between maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to optimize system performance and reliability
• Participate in team projects and contribute to the organization’s strategic objectives.

YOUR PROFILE 

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• New Jersey Blue Seal Steam License required.
• Experience with GMP practices and compliance required.
