For the Ardena Business Unit based in Oss, we are looking for a
Analytical Lead (Scientist Analytical Sciences)
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will work independently and in project teams on analytical development of API's for pharmaceutical applications. As Analytical Lead, you will be responsible for all analytical activities related to the development of new pharmaceuticals in different stages of development.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- You maintain contact with project leads, process chemistry leads, customers and report about the status and progress of projects.
- You perform and supervise analytical development using chromatographic and/or spectroscopic techniques such as HPLC, GPC, GC, NMR and many more.
- You lead all analytical aspects for the customer’s project and are in close contact with the customer.
- You divide your time between the lab and behind the desk.
- You will contribute to the scientific level of the analytical sciences team (e.g., introduce new techniques).
- You supervise and coach other (associate) scientists within your projects.
- You take a pro-active role in the projects you are leading.
- You apply your high level of scientific, technical, and organizational skills.
- You keep yourself up to date with the latest technical and CMC developments.
You will report into one of the group leaders in the Department of Analytical Sciences.
YOUR PROFILE LOOKS LIKE/ RESEMBLES
- You have a master’s or PhD degree in (analytical) chemistry with a strong affinity for analytical techniques with a least five years of experience.
- You are able to translate characterization challenges into practical analytical solutions.
- You like to share and transfer your knowledge.
- You feel comfortable in a dynamic and changing environment.
- You like to learn and develop yourself.
- You are flexible, a problem solver and a team player with an analytical mindset.
- You are pro-active and stress resistant.
- You have good communication skills and are fluent in English (written as well as spoken).
- You are familiar with analytical development and cGMP in a pharmaceutical environment, preferably in a leading role.
- You are familiar with early phase GMP, quality and regulatory standards that are applicable for analytical activities. Knowledge of late phase and/or commercial manufacturing is greatly appreciated.
